Thrive Personal Fitness is a comprehensive fitness business based in Springfield, MO. Thrive Personal Fitness is a duo of Pamela Hernandez, your chief (and only) personal trainer and female fitness maven and Bri Duncan, chief technical officer (who you will never see). Pamela provides personal training services in person and online, writes the content for this site, and hosts a variety of workshops and women’s wellness retreats.

While visiting certain demographic information will be collected about you via Google Analytics and a Facebook pixel.  The information collected will not identify you as an individual, only providing us with demographic information such as the state you live in or how long you stayed at our site.

If you choose to provide us information via a contact form or survey, it will be used for the express purpose for which it was intended, such as responding to your request for information about personal training services. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Information Collected and Stored Automatically automatically collects some technical information from you when you visit the site in order to give you the best possible experience. uses web measurement technology (Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel) to automatically track how visitors interact with including where they came from, what they did on the site and whether they completed any pre-determined tasks while on the site. Aggregate data is used to help Thrive Personal Fitness diversify our content offerings to meet the needs of our customers, track operational problems and improve the effectiveness and integrity of the site. This information does not identify you personally and data is only retained in accordance back up retention policy of Google Analytics, Facebook and our web host, WPEngine. For each page that you visit, we collect and store only the following technical information:

  • URL address of the webpage visited
  • Internet domain and IP address from which our website was accessed
  • Type of browser and operating system used to access our site (if provided by the browser)
  • URL address of the referring page (if provided by the browser)
  • Completion or success status of the request for a web page or other on-line item

This information is only used to help us make the site more useful for you. With this data we learn about the number of visitors to our site and the types of technology our visitors use. We never track or record information about individuals and their visits and we do not share this data with anyone outside of Thrive Personal Fitness unless necessary for law enforcement purposes.

Information Collected from Interactive Forms and Comments provides interactive forms that let you voluntarily submit personal information (such as your e-mail address and name). This occurs when you register for the email list, submit an online form or comment on the blog. In these cases, all submitted information is used only for the express purposes for which it is provided, and is not made available to any third party.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. only shares information you voluntarily provide with other government agencies if required by law. never collects information or creates individual profiles for commercial marketing. When you complete the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire to inquire about personal training services or the Contact form with any questions that data is email to us so one of us (that would always be Pamela) can contact you regarding our services and answer your questions. Thrive Personal Fitness may also use online survey instruments to obtain feedback on your experience with The survey initiation pops up for a random sample of visitors, is voluntary and does not collect personal information. If you decline the survey you will still have access to the same information and resources of as those who do take the survey. The survey reports are available only to owners.

Information collected when you make a purchase

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

When you make a purchase on we use the WooCommerce plug-in to process the sales transaction. While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints

  • Set up your account for our store

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Social media websites are used to publicize Thrive Personal Fitness programs and services and engage with members of the public. Thrive Personal Fitness does not use third party websites to solicit and collect personal information from individuals. Any personal information collected by a third party website will not be transmitted to Thrive Personal Fitness unless required for law enforcement purposes or as otherwise permitted by law. Thrive Personal Fitness’ privacy and other web policies do not apply to these third party sites and we encourage you to read the policies of the third party site when deciding whether to use it.
