Time to be alone? Are you kidding?

Time to make a plan? I am flying by the seat of my pants!

Time to dream? Not sure when…

I need to tell you something very important.

There is no badge for being busy. There are no bonus points for perfection.

You can’t pour from an empty cup.

To be your best, and to give your best to others, time for renewal is essential.

I know this from experience. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, tired and a little empty.

I’ve found many ways to renew and recharge myself over the years. Some are daily (oh the power of a 15 minute nap!) and some are much more random (like being home alone while Brian is off on a frequent flyer adventure). I know my clients often have a hard time making the same kind of space for themselves. I often hear that the time spent in the gym with me is the only “me-time” they get.

I am humbled and honored that they value our time together so much. I also wish they could make more space for themselves.  I know that if we don’t make the time, the time will never appear on it’s on. So I’m here to give you a sign (dare I say permission?) to make the time. I want you to carve out the time for a wellness retreat.

I want to share a place with you that was shared with me by a friend. It’s a beautiful cabin in the woods, almost in my back yard yet it feels like another world. It helped me renew myself not too long ago. It helped me tackle some tough questions about where I was and where I wanted to go.  It gave me a sense of peace and openness that I’ve never felt before. I didn’t tackle all the worlds problems in a weekend but it gave me the understanding and clarity I needed to move forward.

I can’t wait to go back and I want you to come too.

I want to give you the opportunity to take a step out of your daily routine and practice some much needed self-care. I want you to join me in a place where you can tune out the noise, put on your pajamas, sip a cup of tea and think about where you are on this journey.

I am so excited to ask you to be a part of something very special to me…my first wellness retreat. Please join me for the first Refill Your Cup Retreat at Timber Creek Retreat House in Drexel, Missouri on October 7-9, 2016.

I will be your co-host for the weekend along with Tom and Beth Jacobs, founders and directors of Timber Creek Retreat House. While the goal of the weekend is to retreat (aka you don’t have to do ANYTHING) I have planned workshops on habit change and overcoming the Diet Mentality. We’ll also have time for tea, talk, coloring, meditation, hiking, massage, yoga…or NOTHING AT ALL.

This is a place for you to find what you need. This is the quiet room, the space you need to think and come away with a plan to move forward on your journey.

Here’s how you can join me:

Rates for the weekend are:

Private Room & Bath: $145 per night per person

Shared Room & Bath: $195 per night (97.50 per person per night)

PLUS a program fee of $250 per person

These rates include everything I mentioned above (except massage, which is optional at $85 per hour) plus delicious home cooked meals and a special gift or two to say thank you for joining me.

All you need to do to reserve your spot is go to www.TimberCreekRetreat.org and click BOOK NOW to make a reservation for the nights of October 7 and 8, 2016.

In the notes section please indicate you are attending the Refill Your Cup Retreat with Pamela Hernandez. Also, please indicate if you’re vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, gluten-free, or if you have food allergies.

Also note that due to the intimate space of Timber Creek spaces are very limited. The sooner you can book the better!

(My clients and email list got their invitations first, so as of this post there is ONLY ONE room left!)

Tom and Beth will come confirm your reservation via email and share more details about your stay as it gets closer. Let me know if you have questions or concerns prior to booking.

I can’t wait to share this time with you. However, if you can’t join us for the weekend rest assured that Timber Creek is always there for you. You’re worth the time, whenever you choose to take it.

****Update!!! We are almost at capacity. The Timber Creek website says NO rooms available but I can move to the overflow room to accommodate ONE more reservation. Contact me directly for details! ****
