12 Days of Fitmas Workout

Christmas is almost here!!!

Are you as excited as I am? Are you looking forward to a day or two of rest, fun and family after working hard these last few weeks?

What do you mean you haven’t been working hard? Have you not been following my 12 Days of Fitmas on Facebook?

Maybe the holiday festivities and snow days threw you off the path for a bit. Don’t panic, It’s never too late to get back on the road. If you need a quick workout today, tomorrow or even Christmas Day, my 12 Days of Fitmas workout will do the trick. Since you’re so kind to read my blog I’ll even give you Day 12 a day early!

Beginners can do this circuit one to two times. If you’re more advanced, do it up to four times.

Also, if you’re new to fitness, most of the moves can be modified. For example, if you’re not quite ready for T push ups check out my post on push up variations for every level.  Side planks can be done with bent knees instead of straight legs.  Take the jump out of your jumping jack if high impact moves aren’t for you. If you’re not sure how to change a move, look at some of the others suggestions that I’ve posted on Facebook.

While you’re checking out the Facebook posts be sure to check out the challenge that goes with each day as well. We’ve been working on 12 habits to help survive the hectic holiday season and start the New Year on the right path. Pick one and get to work!

Have you been following the 12 Days of Fitmas? Tell me what improvements you’ve seen? What challenge has helped you the most?

I’ve been following and sharing on my FB page. I love these because there is a nice variety and a strong base to build from. Crazy me, I plan to take full advantage of my days off and actually make sure I get my workouts in, even on Christmas.

I love having go-to workouts like this that I can do almost anywhere. I think I’ll print this out and bring it along to my family get-together this week, since it looks like it’s going to be too cold to do anything outside.

This list is adorable and helpful – I’d rather focus on sideplanks than turtle doves any day!
