Monthly Workout Playlist Dec. 2009

by Pamela

The holiday season is in full swing. Every retail store and public gathering area is all Christmas music all the time. I like Christmas music, to a point. It’s fun to listen to while putting up the tree, wrapping presents, or driving to see the family.

I don’t enjoy Christmas music while working out. So this month’s playlist is devoted to some great non-holiday music from the disco era.

I wanted to give you something this month that would help you de-stress from the busy season, yet keep you moving and motivated. Disco is fun, energetic and carefree. During these hectic months most of us need all the energy and motivation we can get. So swap the jingle bells for a disco ball and have a great time at the gym this month!

This is a great playlist! Lots of my faves on there too. I’ve been busily downloading to my iPhone. ‘SOS’ from ABBA would fit well on that list too. Thanks so much for the suggestions!

I love music. And ABBA!!! I should have added Dancing Queen, but I thought it would have been a little overkill.

So do I, and like you, I can’t work out without it. Also, the music played at my gym is…..well….not to my taste. Your December playlist is great – can’t wait to see January’s!

I hear you about gym music. I dont’ know what half of it is and it makes me feel old. LOL!

Yes, yes, yes! My gym tends to play lots of remakes/remixes…..but I’m old enough to remember the originals (which of course are MUCH better ;-)
